Top Ten Kids Party Favors 

1. MUSIC CD: Give each guest a music CD with a personalized CD label. You can play the music during the party as well so kids will relate it to your child's special day. 

2. GLOW STICKS, GLOW NECKLACES, GLOW BRACELETS: Wrap a glow stick in colorful paper and add a tag with this special message:
"After a long party day, it's time to wash the dirt away! Have your Mom fill up the tub, activate the glow stick and turn off the lights.
Enjoy an After-Party Glow Bath."
 

3. FOAM SUN VISORS: These inexpensive visors come in a variety of bright colors at your craft store and are a hit with both boys and girls.
Supply a few colorful permanent markers and some glitter glue so they can write their name or favorite saying on the visor.
 

4. JAR MIXES: Surf the internet for "jar recipes". You can use beverage mixes - bug juice for a bug party or sweet swamp water for a jungle party, bath salts for a glamour party or slumber party, or the ever-popular cookie and brownie mixes for any type of party!

5. THEMED BOOKS: You're a hero with kids and parents alike when you give your party guests a book to take home.
Matching the subject to the party theme makes it a great party remembrance too, for example: dinosaur book for dinosaur party, and so on.

6. COLORED PLAYDOUGH: Put a portion of clay in a plastic ziploc bag along with a label with the party guest's name, decorated with markers or stickers.
Add a colorful cookie cutter or cut a 1/2 inch dowel into 4 inch lengths to serve as a little dough roller.

7. MAGIC TOWELS: You can often find these at discount stores. It is a small terry towel with various designs which is shrunken into a very small package.
Kids add water to make it expand. 

8. TREASURE BOXES: Every kid has trinkets and treasures and loves to have a neat container to stow them in. Your local department store has small plastic boxes in many shapes and sizes you can adapt as a treasure box.
Give out markers at the party so everyone can personally decorate their Treasure Box.
 

9. PERSONALIZED TOYS: Write guest's name on the item with permanent marker and fill with goodies. Here are some great items you can use: Plastic Watering Can for a Garden Party, Pails and shovels for a Pool Party, Sport Bottle for a Sport party, umbrella or Parasol for a Tea Party… attach lace gloves. 

10. TEMPORARY TATTOOS: Fill 3 bowls with the following:  temporary tattoos, water and cotton balls. Most kids will know how to apply the tattoos themselves. Let them go for it…their creativity will take over…they will love this activity!
